Treatments

Urological treatments include different methods planned according to the type of disease, the patient’s general health condition, symptoms and diagnostic findings. This section, prepared by Prof. Dr. Hakkı Perk, provides general information about surgical treatments, prostate treatments, stone treatments, diagnostic and biopsy procedures, and supportive treatment options.

Urological treatments are planned individually according to the cause of the disease and the patient’s needs. Robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, HoLEP, ThuFLEP, TUR-P, TUIP, Rezum, ESWL, URS, RIRS, PNL, prostate biopsy, fusion biopsy, penile prosthesis and ESWT are among the current methods used in urology.

This section prepared by Prof. Dr. Hakkı Perk aims to help patients gain general information about treatment options, evaluate the process more consciously before an appointment and understand which methods may be considered for different disease groups. The contents do not replace diagnosis or treatment advice; specialist evaluation is required for personalized decisions.

When creating a treatment plan, the patient’s age, general health condition, symptoms, test results, stage of disease and expectations are evaluated together. Detailed examination and necessary diagnostic tests are important for choosing the right treatment approach.
